Fiscal sponsorship is an arrangement where FXI, as a registered LLC, acts as your professional and financial umbrella. We receive contract payments on your behalf, manage the paperwork, and disburse funds to you — so you can work with any organization without needing your own registered business.

No — that's exactly what FXI solves. We provide the legal entity, W-9, and Certificate of Insurance on your behalf. You work under our umbrella while maintaining full creative control of your projects.

Yes. At year-end, FXI prepares and provides you with a 1099 reflecting all payments disbursed to you. We also organize your transaction records so you have everything you need for tax filing.

FXI's fiscal sponsorship is provided pro-bono. We believe creators shouldn't have to pay to access professional infrastructure. Specific fee structures for additional services are discussed during onboarding.

You'll receive: a W-9 (from FXI's entity), Certificate of Insurance, copies of all contracts managed on your behalf, payment disbursement records, and a year-end 1099 for tax filing.

You do. FXI acts as your fiscal and administrative sponsor — we never claim ownership of your creative work. Your intellectual property rights remain entirely yours.

Because contracts are managed through FXI, we handle payment follow-ups and dispute resolution on your behalf. You're protected by a professional entity rather than navigating collections as an individual.
